# Your five numbers on one page. Two minutes, nothing saved.

Source: https://ivankamenken.com/scorecard · Last updated 20 October 2026

The five-number scorecard is the one page Ivanka Menken's mentoring clients fill in every month: weeks of payroll covered by cash, gross margin, the price of your newest work against a year ago, commitments kept, and confidence from 1 to 10. Fill it in here for free, print or save it, and pick the one number you most want to move. Nothing is stored or sent, and there is no email to give.

## If you can answer these quickly, you know where you stand

- I cannot say how many weeks of payroll our cash covers
- I know revenue, but not this month's margin
- I have not raised my price in a long time
- I make commitments and lose track of them
- I would like to see all of it on one page.

## One page, five numbers

Three for the money, two for the head.

1. Weeks of payroll covered by cash in the bank
2. Gross margin, as a percentage
3. Price of your newest piece of work against the same work a year ago
4. Commitments kept since you last checked
5. Confidence in the business, scored 1 to 10

## How to use it

Two minutes now, and again in a month.

1. Write down the five numbers: Your best honest figure for each. A rough number beats a blank.
2. Pick the one to move: Not the worst one: the one that would change the most if it moved.
3. Keep the page: Print it or save it as a PDF, and fill it in again in a month to see what moved.

Mentoring clients fill in the same page every month, and read it with Ivanka at month 3 and month 6.

## Questions about Five-Number Scorecard

### What is the five-number scorecard?

The five-number scorecard is the one-page measure Ivanka Menken uses in her six-month 1:1 mentoring: weeks of payroll covered by cash, gross margin, newest-work price against a year ago, commitments kept, and confidence from 1 to 10. Three numbers track money kept and two track a clearer head. Clients fill it in once a month.

### Is it free?

Yes. You can fill in the five-number scorecard on this page as often as you like, print it or save it as a PDF. Ivanka Menken does not ask for an email address, and nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere. It works the same way as her free book, The Clarity Shift.

### What is a good score?

There is no pass mark. A useful five-number scorecard is an honest one, and the numbers mean most next to your own numbers from last month. Ivanka Menken does not rank founders against each other or against a benchmark. What matters is which number you choose to move, and whether it moves.

### Do you store my numbers?

No. The five-number scorecard runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is saved, sent or tracked, and closing the page clears it. If you want to keep your numbers, print the page or save it as a PDF. If you want Ivanka Menken to see them, you choose what to email her.

### What happens if I work with Ivanka Menken?

In her six-month 1:1 mentoring, AUD $1,500 a month ex GST, you fill in the five-number scorecard every month and read it with Ivanka Menken at month 3 and month 6. The number you most want to move usually shapes the first fortnightly sessions. A 20-minute conversation is the place to start.

### Why these five numbers?

Because the money and the head move together. Thin prices leave thin margins, growth on thin margins eats cash, and payroll pressure drains confidence. The five-number scorecard tracks where that chain starts and where it shows. Ivanka Menken added commitments kept because follow-through is what turns a decision into a result.
