Nine Revenue Streams Still Need Cash

You have ad revenue, a course, a membership and a book, and you still check the bank before committing to next month’s contractor payment. Ivanka Menken uses the Price-Cash-Confidence Chain inside Cash-Tight Growth Mentoring, a 6-month programme at AUD $1,500 per month ex GST, to test each stream for price, cash timing and confidence before you add another. You leave with a stream map and one price or cash decision.

The Price-Cash-Confidence Chain is a tool inside the programme, not a separate product.

Every stream answers three questions.

  1. PRICEthe stream that leads the othersWho sets it?
  2. CASHthe date the money is in the bankWhen does it land?
  3. CONFIDENCEwhat next month depends onHow sure?

THE RULE

“Map the streams you have before you add the next one.”

Your streams will differ.

More streams, the same cash gap

  1. 01You keep adding offers because the bank account feels thin.
  2. 02Revenue is up but the cash timing is a mystery.
  3. 03Every stream needs your attention and none feels solid.
  • Streams: nine, each with a headline revenue number
  • Price owner for each stream: not named
  • Cash date for each stream: not written
  • Confidence in next month: low, checked daily
  • Next plan: launch another offer

Nine streams, no order between them.

The founder who kept launching

  1. 01

Nine streams, and a daily look at the bank

On paper the business looks busy and varied. Ads, sponsorships, a course, a membership, a book, coaching and a few partnerships. The total is up on last year. Yet before you commit to next month’s contractor payment, you still open the bank account to check. You cannot say which stream pays the bills in the first week of the month, and which one only looks good in the annual total.

  2. 02

    Launch another offer

In this case, a creator founder had added streams across content, courses and memberships, and still checked cash every day. The obvious fix was to launch another offer. It brought in more revenue. It did not touch the timing gap in the bank account, because the new money landed on a different schedule from the bills. Each launch also took more of the founder’s attention from the streams already running.

  3. 03

Every stream had a total and no date

Ivanka noticed each stream had a headline revenue number but no clear price owner, no cash date and no confidence rating. The founder could say the course made a good amount last year. They could not say when this month’s course money would arrive, or whether next month depended on it. The streams were counted. They were never ordered.

An order problem, not an offer problem

The diagnosis was not a shortage of offers. It was a missing order across the streams already there: which one sets the price, when cash actually lands, and which one next month depends on.

The reframe: more revenue streams do not fix a cash problem if none of them has a clear price, cash timing and confidence behind it. The aim is not more streams. It is a clearer order of work, starting with the stream that creates the most uncertainty.

More revenue streams do not fix a cash problem on their own.

Adding another stream can bring in more revenue while leaving the same cash gap in the business.

The Price-Cash-Confidence Chain, for nine streams

The Price-Cash-Confidence Chain runs each revenue stream through three links in order. Price: what is charged and who sets it. Cash: when the money actually lands. Confidence: how sure you are of next month from this stream. A stream that is weak on any link is where the work starts, before anything new is launched.

Across the top, the three links of the chain: price and who sets it, the cash date when money lands, and confidence for next month. Each stream has a row of three cells to fill. The membership row is gold: the stream with the lowest confidence. Price-Cash-Confidence Chain · a framework by Ivanka Menken

What it is

It is a stream map on one page. Each stream gets a row with its price, a cash-timing note and a confidence rating. Underneath, the one price or cash decision for the next review.

What it replaces

It replaces an annual revenue total, a daily look at the bank, and a launch plan used as a cash plan.

It sits inside Cash-Tight Growth Mentoring, next to the monthly Money-and-Clarity Scorecard. You work it through together and take the numbers to your adviser. It is coaching, not accounting or financial advice, and there is no separate checkout.

  • 01Every stream listed: nine in this case, from ads to coaching
  • 02The price for each, and who sets it
  • 03The cash date for each: when the money is in the bank
  • 04A confidence rating for each, for next month
  • 05The stream with the most cash uncertainty, marked
  • 06One price or cash decision for the next review

Nine streams through one chain

In the first session, Ivanka ran the founder’s current streams through the Price-Cash-Confidence Chain. She asked which stream sets the price, when cash actually lands, what next month depends on, and where confidence is lowest. The founder wrote a stream map with a price, a cash-timing note and a confidence rating for each offer. Before the next session, they wrote one price or cash decision for the weakest stream.

  3. 3The storyWhy another launch felt like the fix.
  4. 4The commitmentOne price or cash decision for the next review.
  • Which stream sets the price?
  • When does the cash actually land?
  • What does next month depend on?
  • Where is your confidence lowest?
  • Which stream would you cut or reprice first?

Before the next session, the founder kept the stream map beside the bank account and logged the date each payment actually landed.

A clearer order of work

By month 6, the founder has a stream map, a monthly Money-and-Clarity Scorecard and one price or cash decision moved into a written commitment for the coming weeks.

BEFORE

  • Nine streams, each counted by its total.
  • No cash date for any of them.
  • A daily look at the bank.
  • Another launch as the plan.

BY MONTH 6

  • A stream map with price, cash date and rating.
  • The weakest stream repriced or cut.
  • A monthly scorecard instead of a daily check.
  • New offers weighed against the map first.

The programme is the container: 12 fortnightly 60-minute sessions, a monthly scorecard, and reviews at month 3 and month 6.

In this case, the founder mapped the streams through the chain and wrote one decision for the next review. They began cutting or repricing the stream that created the most cash uncertainty, instead of launching another.

Order the streams before you add one

Ivanka Menken built Cash-Tight Growth Mentoring for founders of $500K to $3M businesses that are growing while cash tightens. A business with many streams is one of the most common versions of that problem.

This fits if you earn from several streams and still check the bank before each commitment. It does not fit if you want someone to do the books. The decision in front of you is to map the streams you have before you launch the next one.

“During our sessions Ivanka isn’t just talking theory. She is sharing her own lived experiences.”

Business owner

It fits

  • You earn from several streams or offers.
  • Revenue is up and cash still feels thin.
  • You are tempted to launch another offer.
  • You will write the stream map down and review it monthly.

It does not fit

  • You want accounting or financial advice.
  • You want a done-for-you fix.
  • You want a launch plan for a new offer.
  • You have one stream and want marketing help.

Questions about revenue streams and cash

Is this about becoming a creator?

No. It is about the cash behind several revenue streams, whatever the business. Creators often have the most streams, which is why the case starts there. Ivanka Menken runs the same chain for service and product founders inside Cash-Tight Growth Mentoring, 6 months at AUD $1,500 per month ex GST, wherever revenue arrives from more than one place.

What does the Price-Cash-Confidence Chain test?

Three links, in order. Price: what each stream charges and who sets it. Cash: when the money actually lands. Confidence: how sure you are of next month from that stream. Ivanka Menken uses it inside Cash-Tight Growth Mentoring, 6 months at AUD $1,500 per month ex GST, to find the stream where the work should start.

Can Cash-Tight Growth help with multiple income streams?

Yes. Several streams with uneven cash timing is a common reason founders join. Ivanka Menken maps every stream with you, then keeps the price and cash decisions on the monthly scorecard across 12 fortnightly sessions. Cash-Tight Growth Mentoring runs for 6 months at AUD $1,500 per month ex GST. It is coaching, not financial advice.

Do I need to drop all but one stream?

No. The aim is a clearer order, not one stream. Most founders keep most of their streams and reprice or cut the one that creates the most cash uncertainty. Ivanka Menken helps you choose which, inside Cash-Tight Growth Mentoring, 6 months at AUD $1,500 per month ex GST, and you review the decision at the next session.

Map the streams you already have

If you earn from several streams and still check the bank before each commitment, start with Cash-Tight Growth Mentoring. The Price-Cash-Confidence Chain is inside it, and the 20-minute intro call is where you can see whether the programme fits.

Not accounting, financial advice or a done-for-you fix.
